Something amazing happened Friday. I got off work early. On my way home there was a young guy, but older then me, hitchhiking in Lindsy. I drove by thinking "I am so hungry, I just want to get home". Half a mile later I felt so convicted that I had to turn around and pick him up. He had some large insulated bags that he put in the back. I asked him "whats in the bags"? He replied "it's cider from a Buddhist temple in Tibet that a friend had brought back for me. One thing led to another and I found out that he was a hardcore Buddhist that lived in a place in peterborough just for Buddhist. He asked me what I believed and I told him about Jesus. I was able to compare a lot of what he believes with what I believe. As I began to share about the holy spirit and releasing heaven on earth he turned to me and said " the left side of my body is starting to tingle. What is that"? I told him that it was the holy spirit. I asked if I could release it over him and he reluctantly said yes. As soon as I touched his shoulder he totally got wacked! We were so drunk in the spirit I had to pull over! I had a few words of knowledge over him and he started praising the name of Jesus!!! We spent a few minutes more soaking and then I dropped him off. He wanted my number so he could learn more about this Jesus. As he left he said "you have just made my week... no you have just made my whole year"!
As my pastor said to me, "Its not about us versus them. Jesus can save Buddhist, Muslims, and even Christians. He loves us all the same".
Yah God!

Josiah, MY NEW SON!

Before I left early Friday afternoon for ATF I laid my hands on my wife's stomach and prayed, "Lord keep my son in the womb for 30 more hours". It was a selfish prayer I know, because Amanda was ready to have him as of yesterday, but I really didn't want to miss my son being born! 30hrs later, at 12:30am Sunday morning I arrived home exhausted from the ATF weekend. As soon as I walked through the front doors I was met by Amanda walking down the stairs holding her stomach. She said with some discomfort, "ok i am ready, lets go the hospital". Excitedly I said "ok get in the car its still warm". We arrived at the hospital and they gave her a room. During all of this I was really starting to feel sick. I said "I will be back in a minute" and ran down to my car to grab some Tylenol. While I was at the car I received a text msg saying "OMG its started, he's coming now"! I dropped my stuff and started running back to her room. There was so much excitement that i missed the front doors and ran all the way to the back! Then there was no elevator or stairs in sight. Finally, I seen the elevator at the end of a hall. As I began to run down the hall, an old lady in a wheel chair pulls out in front of me. In my mind I am thinking "If I have to wait for her I will miss my son being born"! So I against my better judgment I cut her off and jumped into the elevator, pressing the close door button before she had a chance to get there. I could see her just as the door was closing, and the expression on her face was "those terrible young people have no respect for there elders!" OH Man, I felt so terrible but I kept telling myself "I cant miss my son being born". The elevator stopped on Amanda's floor and I ran out towards her room. Out of breath I arrived at Amanda's room and was met by the nurse, my mother in law and Amanda all falling over with laughter! The nurse wipes the tears from her eyes and said "we were watching you from the window run across the parking lot and miss the front doors. What took you so long?" I told them about not being able to find a way up, then cutting off the old lady in a wheel chair and how bad I felt and they laughed even harder! Oh well, If Amanda was laughing then she wasn't thinking about the pain. A few hours later Amanda gave birth to our son Josiah Nathanael Jobin at 11:50 am, Sunday, October, 25th. God is so good!
